Who can rent a car?
Any natural person over 20 years of age who has had a valid driver's licence for at least one year can rent a car from our rental service.
Deposit – is it required?
Our rental service has cars of various classes. Consequently, we require a refundable deposit when you rent a car. The amount of the deposit depends on the specific car model. We accept deposits paid in cash or by immobilising the funds on the renter’s payment card. We do not require a deposit only if the rental is paid for online using a debit card or credit card. The deposit is refunded to the renter in the same amount immediately after the undamaged car is returned to our rental station.
Formalities – what information is needed to sign the agreement?
We will sign an agreement with you to settle the formalities connected with the rental. To sign it, we need details from your personal identity card and driver's licence and information about your address of residence.
Will we deliver the car to the indicated address?
Yes, our services include delivering the car to the address of your choosing. The cost of this service is specified in the price list.
Can the car be rented or returned outside of the business hours of the rental station?
The car can be rented or returned outside of our regular business hours and on Sundays. However, this involves an extra charge of PLN 50.
What documents do you need to rent a car?
We will only need your personal identity card and driver's licence as well as your payment card, if you select the option “deposit-free rental”.
Who can drive the rented car?
Other drivers may also drive the car, in addition to the person signing the agreement. However, you should inform us that you want such persons to drive the vehicle so that we can incorporate suitable notes in the agreement.
How to refill the rented car?
At the time of rental, we record the current fuel level and expect you to return the car refilled to the same level, regardless of how much fuel you use. You have the pay the fuel costs yourself.
Is there a mileage limit?
Yes. We have a range of different cars with different mileage limits. We always specify the limits in the rental agreement.
1–3 days – 200 km/day
4–7 days – 200 km/day
8–14 days – 150 km/day
15–29 days – 100 km/day
1 month – 3000 km/month
For every additional kilometre over the limit, you will be charged PLN 1.50 extra.
Can you cross the border in the rented car?
Yes. You can drive the rented car everywhere in the European Union. However, you have to notify us of your intention and obtain our permission.
Can I extend the rental during the term of the agreement?
Yes, you can extend the rental. To do so, simply notify us, and we will amend the agreement and send you the new version. You will be able to pay the extra charge via a bank transfer or online card payment.
Are the rented cars insured?
All the cars we rent have valid insurance. In case of damage attributable to the renter or unknown offender, the renter has to pay a so-called deductible. You can avoid this if you purchase a suitable option with us.
What to do in case of damage?
If you fill the wrong fuel: if you notice that you filled the car with the wrong fuel by mistake – DO NOT START THE ENGINE. Secure the car and contact us – we will provide a replacement vehicle and take care of the original car.
If you suffer a total loss: if you are involved in an accident, do what you need to keep you, your car and your surroundings safe, assist the affected persons and call the police and, where necessary, the ambulance. Finally, contact us and follow our instructions.
In case of a collision: do what you need to keep the car and your surroundings safe, assist the affected persons where necessary, call the police and then contact us.
Flat tyre: if you notice a tyre puncture, do what you need to keep the car and your surroundings and contact us. We will order a mobile tyre change service to repair your tyre on site or – where this is not possible – provide you with a replacement car.
Broken glass: if you notice broken glass in your car, contact us. If the chipped glass does not prevent the safe use of the car, it will be repaired after you return it. If the glass has been completely broken, we will provide a replacement car. Contact us if you notice that your car or paint has been damaged.
Is the deductible in the claim a necessary fee?
If the damage was caused by the renter or if the party responsible for damage to the car is unknown, the renter has to pay the deductible – a one-off fee. If the perpetrator is another motorist, the repair is covered in full by the perpetrator’s insurance. The deductible in the claim can be avoided if you buy a suitable service in advance.
